Is this TMI?

October 28, 2015 by Jordan Sok No Comments

October 26, 2015 by Jordan Sok No Comments

The first half of this blog was written on Tuesday, October 20, 2015, two days before I was violently attacked. For your safety, I ask that you please read the entire post before purchasing a milk frother. Why Everyone Should Own a Milk Frother

Something Super-Duper Incredible.

married couple

That’s bull.

3 Reasons to be Thankful You’re in Debt

October 9, 2015 by Jordan Sok No Comments

Two words start with “D-E” that sometimes have the same connotation to me. One is devil. The other is debt.

It’s now 5 a.m. on a Saturday morning after a sleepless night, and I’ll be honest, it’s one of those days when “devil” and “debt” seem synonymous.

I grew up listening to Dave Ramsey whenever I was in my dad’s truck and even had to read one of his books before I got my first cell phone. So being newly married, 25, and knee-deep in debt sometimes makes me feel like I’m failing at life.

Brandon and I would both very much like to be out of debt before we have children or buy a house.

But as many of our friends begin that process, I can’t help but feel like we will never get there.

Maybe you feel that way too.

October 8, 2015 by Jordan Sok No Comments

In my short time on earth, I’ve concluded one thing:

If you want to have a full life, you have to embrace the awkward.

Girl in sunIt seems that the most freeing moments in my life happen to be awkward ones.

If you want to have a full life, you have to embrace the awkward.

And no, I’m not referring to the kind of moments when you fall down the stairs at school or you score on the wrong goal during a basketball game (although, I’ve unfortunately had to embrace those awkward moments too).
